Besides writing cookbooks, Daniel is a rnowned food essayist and storyteller. Daniel has more than 25 years in the restaurant business, starting as a busboy when just a freshman in high-school. He moved to the kitchen where he was a; Line Cook, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef. Daniel created America’s 1st ever Venetian Wine Bar (Bacaro) with his Bar Cichetti where he was; Chef, Wine Director, and Managing Partner. Daniel is one of America’s leading authorities of Italian Wine. Daniel lives and writes in New York’s Greenwich Village where he is currently working on a new cookbook and a book on Chianti.
